Owner & President
Michele began her career with Dave Griggs' Flooring America in 1989 after graduating from the University of Missouri in Textile and Apparel Merchandising. Over her professional career, Michele has worn many hats within the organization, but her most prized role is becoming the sole Business Owner in 2016. She juggles her career time along with giving back to her community by being an advocate and mentor for countless organizations. She also proudly holds the titles of wife, Mom and Grandmother. She loves spending time with her family and pets. Her hobbies are drawing, reading and interior and fashion design.
Commercial Sales, Project Manager
Tim Sabel began his flooring career in the mid-eighties after a recommendation from Dave Griggs'. After several years in advertising sales, he found a career in flooring, working in distributor and construction sales before coming to Dave Griggs' Flooring America in 1997. Tim graduated from Worsham College in Chicago with a degree in Mortuary Science and undergrad work at Arizona State and the University of Illinois-Chicago. Tim is a happily married grandfather of five, and he enjoys gardening and golfing when he isn't busy talking shop.

Flooring Sales & Design
Mike found his way into home floor covering and home furnishing through his family-owned business, Milo H Walz. After 50 years, he still finds joy in helping clients solve tough flooring problems. As the Insurance Specialist for Dave Griggs' Flooring America, Mike helps families whose homes have been damaged, guiding them through the process and helping them efficiently return to a better space. A graduate of the University of Missouri, his hobbies include spending time with his children and cheering for the Missouri Sports Teams.
Design & Sales
Mary has over thirty-two years of leadership experience in the flooring and design industry. Originally from California, Mary is experienced with builders, contractors, and residential clients. Her knowledge, experience, and general love for people make her clients instant friends. A wife and Mom, Mary likes to spend her downtime with family exploring her new home state, Missouri, cooking, and fishing.
Interior Design & Sales
McKenna joined the Flooring America team in 2022. A graduate of Appalachian State University, she is a native of North Carolina. Her experience includes tile design, flooring, and installations. McKenna loves consulting with clients to help them achieve their goals. In her off time, McKenna loves to bake and find new recipes. Being from the South, she is always in search of a good Southern Sweet Tea.
Installations & Claims Manager
Jerrad has been with the company since 2000. As our Chief-Accountability-Officer, he takes pride in making sure that your job is done right. His keen attention to detail and vast installation knowledge are valued resources. A devoted family man, Jerrad enjoys coaching his three children in competitive sports and watching his daughters take the theatrical stage.
Office Manager
Kathy has been an essential part of the company since 2001. Her passion for her career is founded on providing clients with the best service while paying attention to details and the bottom line. When Kathy isn't behind her desk, she loves to spend time outdoors fishing, boating, camping and cooking for her family.
Warehouse Manager
BJ has been with Flooring America since he joined the warehouse team in 2013. Knowledgeable in all things flooring, he oversees the warehouse and busy installation supply shop, as well as the day-to-day logistics of getting our products and installation crews in and out the door. BJ is a sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Warehouse, Delivery & Grounds
Jamie Sullivan has been a valued member of the Dave Griggs Flooring America team since 2016. Known as one of the hardest workers you'll ever meet, Jamie brings an incredible attention to detail to everything he does. Working behind the scenes, he plays an essential role in building and grounds maintenance, deliveries, and rug binding—helping keep our operation running smoothly every day.
But Jamie's impact goes far beyond his work. He has a special way of brightening the showroom, often surprising the team with beautiful flower bouquets just to make someone smile. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and animals, with a special place in his heart for his granddaughter.

Warehouse & Delivery
Matthew Sturdy joined the Dave Griggs Flooring America family in early 2026 and has already made a strong impression as a fast learner with a solid work ethic. A graduate of Battle High School, Matthew brings a natural curiosity and hands-on approach to everything he does—qualities that serve both his teammates and customers well.
Outside of work, he enjoys following sports and has a passion for classic cars and motorcycles, reflecting his appreciation for craftsmanship and performance. Matthew's positive attitude, client-focused mindset, and fun spirit make him a great addition to our team, and we're excited to see him continue to grow.
